The December 2003 cover story of Vanity Fair declared that “Gay TV is here, and the revolution will be televised.” 15 years later, the two series featured on that cover—Will & Grace and Queer Eye—are back on TV. Was this the bold future we envisioned at the onset of the Gay TV revolution, or are we stuck in a loop?
