This shot will conclude my takeover.
Before going to the Maldives I had two shots in my head that I wanted to capture. The first one was a shot of the Milkyway with palm trees in the foreground. I wasn’t sure if I would get the shot for two reasons. The first one being, that the monsoon is currently building up, meaning that rain becomes more frequent and the chance of clear skies becomes less likely. The second reason is that I didn’t think I would be able to capture the leaves of the palm tree without them moving during the 20 seconds exposure. But I was very lucky and the sky was almost completely clear and even though the island is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, there was not a breath of wind that night.
