Have you ever felt really exausted, when on #vacation? And than you say: I just realized how much I needed that free/off time a.k.a holidays, because as much as I'm resting, laying on the beach, sleep enough and do nothing, I still feel tired and can't get enough energy to do anything. But did you ever think about why do you feel like that? I usually felt like that and thought that's because I train a lot otherwise and need that off time, because it is hot, because I swim in the sea and water exhaust you etc. All this is partly true, but only this year I noticed something else. We always eat a lot and kind of "crapy" when on vacation. Than you don't have energy, you don't move enough and that's why you feel even more tired. I agree that you have to indulge yourself and have fun on vacation, but just now I saw what a big difference does it make what is your treat. This year I had some #treats in a week of my vacation, but mostly more healthy ones, made at home. We had pancakes for breakfast (#glutenfree with #vegetable milk), i had fruit or oat bowls with honey or #haselnut #spread that is on the picture (#oats #chiaseeds #yoghurt #banana #peanuts #20chocolate bought in @zlata.pticka), iced coffe made at home (with coconut sugar and vegetable milk), lots of fresh and dry fruits and nuts etc. What's more... I went to run sometimes, just for my soul. I never run when training for my performance in figure skating, but a morning run next to the sea with a fresh breeze was someting I needed and gave me energy for the rest of my day. I felt great, didn't need an afternoon nap and spent quality time with my love and his family. Exactly what I needed. So I recommend to watch what you eat and move enough even on vacation. You will have more energy and be ready for a "real life" that is waiting for you at home. Sorry for a long post, but I had to share this with you.
