#NR another good passage from Itzkoff’s ROBIN, in which Williams prepares to do Waiting for Godot in NYC. He got terrible reviews.
EDIT: to clarify- he did a ton of work and then improvised a bunch of non-Beckett material on stage. The critics were not kind - I didn’t mean the above in a mocking way- when Robin was good, he was the best, that’s why I’m reading the book.
