We’re the dog’s last chance – other groups may have tried to help them unsuccessfully. To be admitted to our program they have to be extremely fearful – they can’t show offensive aggression towards people, but can show defensive aggression if they’re cornered. Their average length of stay is 14 weeks, and our pilot program at St. Hubert’s in NJ had a 87% success rate, which is very high. We use science based techniques of desensitization to have them see people as beneficial in their lives. We don’t teach them ‘sit’ or ‘down’, just confidence.
