When people ask me how to get into acting my advice is: 1st get training, learn your craft. 2nd Don’t wait for someone to give you the opportunity make your own. Make a YouTube channel, write short films with your friends, shoot it on your iPhone. 3rd “be so good they can’t say no” #stevemartin ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sure it would be great to get “discovered” but that doesn’t really happen* and why leave that up to chance?

* @nickzano is only person I know who got discovered selling shoes on Sunset Blvd. But he’s unfairly charismatic and good to look at...so anomaly.
