I find it rather difficult to have good pizza in Berlin - plenty of new places opened in the past two years or so, but again and again, I leave disappointed - mostly by the bake, I don’t want my pizza completely done, but I can’t with raw, soggy dough. Other times, it’s the subpar toppings, too acidic tomato sauces, boring cheese, tasteless arugula... this is the Margerita pizza at Standard, which I liked more times than I didn’t. They do have some up and downs, and you should make a reservation. But it’s still my fav pizza experience in Berlin.
