I've never liked this question because it begs for a singular focus or identity.

Fitting into a box or being one particular thing helps people know how to think about and work with you. Yet, this social practice is also inherently limiting.

I’ve always felt immense satisfaction in immersing myself in a new field, learning the rules and players, and working through a challenge. Whether that be acting, writing, producing, hosting, comedy, music, or something else entirely, following my curiosity has always led me to unexpected places.

Last week, I performed a few of my latest AI songs in Amsterdam following world chess champion @larrykasparov and AI researcher/entrepreneur @garymarcus. Singing at a conference focused on artificial intelligence? I never imagined I’d be doing this two years ago.

It began with curiosity around how to make VR content, and later, how to use AI to make music. I likely would not have done either of those things if I felt constrained to follow one singular identity. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
