They say the eyes are the windows to our souls right? So what do you see? And what do you THINK others see when they look into your eyes? Happiness? Sadness? Hope? Despair? Optimism? Pessimism? Joy? Pain? Triumph? Trauma? What vibe are you giving off? I took this class once for self help called M.I.T.T. Similar to Landmark education- and we had a very interesting exercise to do. In it we got to witness what others thought of us upon initially seeing us versus what we THOUGHT we were putting out there. Very eye opening and something to try to be conscious of. This is something i feel I’m constantly struggling with but i am however working on it to bring the two closer to being the same because being misunderstood has been one of the most frustrating parts of my life. But it’s fixable once you’re aware. The world may see us very differently than how we see ourselves. And that sucks.... and can be great at the same time.
