A lot of people dream of owning a Ferrari. Some people do well enough in life to actually obtain one. And then there another class of Ferrarista who can ask Ferrari to make them a special one-off car. Now the lastest "Special Project " or SP, version from Ferrari is the "SP38" modifiled Ferrari 488 GTB with a cool louverd cover for the twin-turbo V8 engine and a much more dialed-back daggerlike front fascia. Cars like SP12 EC built for Eric Clapton or 458 Speciale MM one-off are just two of a special models to emerge from Ferrari's bespoke division. The newest one is this 662 horsepower and 561 lb.-ft.of torque under the beautifully sculpted tri-louver rear decklid, complemented by quad taillights and a high-mounted twin-exit exhaust. Unlike most road-going Ferraris, the SP38 gets a proper wing, rising up from the body via either corner of the rear. The intakes and door handles have been incorporated into the doors, while the front clip has been shaped with inspiration from the ultra-limited Ferrari Sergio. No interior pictures have been released, though it's likely that looks close to a 488's cabin.
