Today was the ACT's first Reconciliation Day public holiday. Hard to put it better than ACT Reconciliation Day Council co-chair, Dr Chris Burke, "I am proud that we Canberrans have led the nation with a Reconciliation Day public holiday. This is symbolic recognition of the value we as a community place on reconciliation.
