4 years ago I won my first international medal at World Juniors, here at Hayward Field in Eugene. I had jumped a pb of 4.45m, and today, 4 years later, I jumped 40cm higher to jump a new pb of 4.85m. A new New Zealand record, Oceania Record, and equal meet record. Who would have known so much would change in 4 years! It was so special to be back here and in such a high quality field! Well done to all the girls and especially @jennsuhr for fighting it out with me till the end ?? 4.85m has been a long time coming and I know there is still so much more left to bring this season. Can’t wait ?
