During her interview for the issue the singer lit up when gifted with a pair of black Ugg boots, exclaiming: “How terrific!” Discussing her style evolution in the years that followed Locomotion in the late 1980s, Minogue was the first to admit she had some hit-and-miss style moments, stating: “Things were a little off in the beginning!” But as Vogue pointed out, hotpants may never have taken off if not for Minogue’s the now-famous gold pair worn for 2000’s Spinning Around video.
