Remember this sad note about this kitty?
Dear City,
When I took in a kitten last year, the apartment complex I rent from first tried to have me evicted but it seems they could not make a story good enough though they did everything they could to inconvenience me and cause issues but I simply went into depression. So a year later I am still here with my 2 well mannered dogs and the cat named Igor.
It seems I MUST have Igor declawed.
The lease declares it and the law does not protect cats here.
The humane society told me face to face that declawing can cause serious behavior issues worse than a cat scratching which he does in an appropriate place.

Is there is any way to stop this and/or prevent me from being removed if I do not do this? (which I cannot afford either on Social Security at 67yrs old)
I adore my cat. He distracts me from the difficult parts of life (I have health issues in breathing as well as two kinds of arthritis) Being a senior without being able to go and do things, my pets are extremely a part of me.
I keep my apartment clean and pass all inspections.

I have some good news. I reached out to the people in charge of this property management company last week to see if they would become a humane company and not require declawing so that all cats would be saved this horrible fate.
Today this woman wrote me and said she received a note from the manager that said The Seldin Company @lifeatseldin no longer requires declawing in their pet policy.
So please thank them!
Igor and all the other cats can live a healthy and happy life! ?❤️
