@thepenandthepangolin here and I am here to show you the different ways I use @Sakura of America（サクラクレパス） products as a biologist and a science illustrator! Here in the genomics lab at @calacademy I study the evolution of infectious diseases, specifically viruses. The #gellyroll and #pigmamicron pens have been absolutely essential in organizing my lab notebook as well as drawing what I research. Right by my lab notebook you see two of my illustrations of dengue virus and of the protein that surrounds it’s outer coat. I’ve illustrated the virus and other viral particles to help visualize my research and scientific concepts in order to more easily communicate my research and scientific findings to a wider audience, including all of you! #labnotebook
