I’m getting a lot questions asking if we are moving. This is because I’ve been posting about purging and packing in my stories. No. We are not moving. We are renovating and redecorating, which means we basically have to move out to make it happen. Although, with each thing I throw out, I get closer and closer to our apartment in its current state, as it’s been for the last ten years, disappearing. Our apartment is a disaster. In addition to the clutter, there are holes in the couch and scratches in the dining room table. Every appliance in our kitchen, including the kitchen sink is breaking down. It needs to be redone. But sometimes, when you get the angle just right and you crop out the mess, I’m reminded of why and how I created this space as I did to begin with. It has serviced us well.
