So I wander onto a dock in Helsinki, Finland & spot this male White Cheek Canadian Goose flailing with these plastic "Engangered Birds" signs tied around its neck. Pretty strange death trap. So off go the clothes! I had one shot at diving & grabbing this bird. Alas, success! The chord was tied around its neck like a noose. It's female partner was very vocal & happy when I returned her mate to the water. Another two birds will fly home this winter! #canadagoose
