I’ve always been candid about life, I’ve fallen on tough times and will continue to do, thats life, but these challenges are what ultimately shape us and can make us feel grateful for everything we are and have in our life.
A good mate said to me the other day, ‘we use our challenging past to inform and shape us... never run away from our past but embrace it.’ (thanks for this one dude??) ..
So if you're feeling alone, have pressure to 'keep up appearances' or just having a rough time in general, remember, we all have shit days. We lose people we love, bad things happen to good people.. there’s just some parts of life we can’t control. The parts we can control are how we react to them. ..
You can either give up, or you can get through temporary hardships (they seem like they’ll last forever, but they don’t) and grow from them.
