When I was out with my brain injury, I found my prayers were never about having the opportunity to come back to winning. I only ever prayed for the opportunity to come back to wrestling. Those prayers got answered. I’m beyond grateful to come back and with a new appreciation and love for this sport. Somewhere along the journey I may have lost sight of a few important things. I hope to never take it for granted that I get to do what I love and that I am healthy.
