Roudy Roudebush - A Colorado Cowboy, Roudy has his quiver of aged one liners that don't seem to get old. After 40 years of horseback tours he & his friends (horses) can be found a little more than a hop skip & a jump outside of Telluride, Co. - When I first shook his hand I truly felt like I was either on a movie set or getting ready for a ride at Disney world. Never leaving character, Roudy pulls you into his office which is essentially a storage room for his hats & photos of him with friends (again, horses) - Mesmerized by the smell of hot coco & burning wood I craned my neck at all of the photos & came to the conclusion that he hasn't changed his chaps or his handkerchief in 40 years.
Touring around his ranch was impressive, no doubt. The sights were immaculate and his stories were entrancing. Although, I knew he had told them probably thousands of times at that point he made it seem like they happened yesterday & he couldn't wait to share with someone.
I consider Roudy someone who has perfected his craft & that is extremely inspiring to me on my own journey.
