Today The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have carried out engagements in London to celebrate technology, innovation and sustainable fashion.
TRH first visited the @YouTube Space to meet YouTubers and learn about @googleartsculture projects.
The project is an immersive way for users to explore art, history and wonders of the world. It puts over 1,500 museums at users’ fingertips.
Then The Prince of Wales joined YouTuber @joe_sugg – who has a huge digital following but who is also a trained roof thatcher. The Prince took part in some traditional thatching. HRH champions traditional skills such as thatching through his charity. HRH also joined a discussion with his youth charities about violent crime and how social media can help.
Meanwhile, The Duchess joined YouTuber @ルイーズ・ペントランド for a chat about children’s literacy and then took part in a "tiltbrush" demonstration. Tiltbrushing enables users to create 3D paintings and designs.
