This morning, outside the Australian oil and gas industry’s biggest annual conference in Adelaide, the people of South Australia have sent a clear message to Statoil, the Norwegian oil company trying to drill for oil our off our southern coastline: its rigs are not welcome here.

And later today we’re taking our message straight to Statoil as their annual general meeting opens in Norway, where Kangaroo Island Mayor Peter Clements will deliver an open letter from our movement to Statoil executives.
