My teeny, my tiny, my teeny teeny tiny! ? I never thought I'd be the mom who makes up songs and actually sings them to her baby but hey I'm that person! ??‍♀️? I can't believe I'm celebrating my first Mother's Day today. The other day I stopped and just stared at her pretty blue eyes and had this thought: What if I never married Stevie? It gives me chills thinking about it because I can't imagine my life any other way. One day I will tell her the story of how I met her dad and the cultural barriers we had to overcome within our family. It was a true act of faith going against the will others had for my life and choosing God's will for my life instead. I can look back now at the weight of that decision and gladly say I am happy I didn't choose the easier path. Valentina means "strong and brave" and that's exactly who she is. I never want her to live in fear or make decisions that are simply "easy". Her beautiful life is proof that AMAZING things happen when you take risks and let God lead the way!
