Mazzy and I went to this awesome art installation at Hudson Yards today. It’s a piece created by @jonburgerman that anyone is free to color all weekend long. Someone actually DM’ed me a pic on Instagram (thanks @aaashleymm!) and I needed something to do with Mazzy this afternoon so it was perfect! She loved it and we colored together for almost an hour. My favorite part was when she saw an angry apple drawn on the wall (part of the original design) and decided to turn the frown into a smile. Then she added hearts in the eyes and freckles on the cheeks, and then, just to bring her point home, wrote #happyapple next to it. Yes, she used the hashtag symbol. I didn’t even know she knew what a hashtag was until that moment! You can swipe to see her ?? and enlarge to see her hashtag.
