Currently we are preparing the Iris van Herpen 'Transforming fashion’ exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, we are excited for it to open on June 2nd.

The @philipbeesleyarchitect ‘Transforming Space’ exhibition will open simultaneously.
"In my work I often try to visualize the invisible, trying to find the forces behind the forms in nature. Some years ago I remember Philip Beesley encouraged me to stretch my mind with something beautiful. He drew a parallel between a dress of mine and the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, seeing my work as a kind of possibility of space "that wraps in multiple layers around the body and reaches outwards into multiple octaves of space. They seem like condensations of things that can resonate, creating not only movement outwards, but also inwards.”
The ‘Aeriform’ dress, is not only a collaboration between myself and Philip - to me this dress is also an expression of the way Philip inspires me to rethink the relationship between our body and the space around us, to remodel the relation between our insides and our outsides. The dress is made of a delicate metal lace of a geodesic molecular pattern, that echoes around the body like a silver cloud." Find out more at www.rom.on.ca
