"Just because you have shot somewhere before, doesn't mean you can't shoot it again. I'd researched this jetty ruin before going to Kangaroo Island, and knew sunrise was the time to get there. I had gone the morning before, and got some nice shots, but not exactly what I was after. The next day when I woke up, the clouds looked amazing and the colour was already starting to light up, so I grabbed my gear and raced back to the same spot again and was rewarded with some stunning photos.

This was taken on a family holiday; it's often hard to stop for photos when and where I want when travelling with kids, so I often have to plan for locations close to where we are staying. The advantage of going at sunrise is that they were all still asleep, and the rest of the town was asleep too, so I had this spot all to myself." - @emmafleetwoodphotography
