It’s Teacher Appreciation Week & state testing has begun for LAUSD public schools. My son’s most excellent 3rd grade teacher Ms. Rachel Pando built this bulletin board in her classroom to remind the students of some important facts. It resonated deeply with my son and calmed him immensely in the face of daunting (& in my opinion mostly bullshit) standardized tests... A HUGE THANK YOU to our over-worked, underpaid public educators who remain invested in and committed to our children’s intelligence, health and character beyond test scores and grades.
