We asked members of our Guide & Athlete team to share some memories about being outside with their Moms’ for Mothers’ Day. The response was overwhelming. We are excited to share these stories of inspiration, achievement and Mom’s love all this week. Alpinist and photographer Jake Norton (@mountainworld) was lucky enough to have a blended family and two Moms’ watching over him. He checks in with this: "From coaxing me onto the frigid ski hill at Sugarloaf with promises of hot chocolate to getting me to Nepal for my first, life-changing visit in 1992 to suffering through many rock climbing trips - despite a fear of heights - my step-mother, Susan, has always been a champion of my work and career, and has helped me dream big and not give up. She's an inspiration in myriad ways, and has helped me for some 40 years in more ways than I can explain. Thank you, Susan, and Happy Mother's Day!"
