Migrants are rescued by members of a Spanish nonprofit in waters near #Libya during a mission on Sunday. The aid group @proactivaopenarms found the 105 migrants, from Bangladesh, Egypt, Libya, Nigeria and other countries, drifting at sea in a motor-less boat.

Each year, tens of thousands of #migrants attempt to reach Spain and other southern European countries by crossing the #Mediterranean in smugglers' boats. Most of the vessels are unfit for open water, and thousands of migrants drown each year.
