I had the supreme honor of introducing these four women to the stage this morning at the @usowomen. I am in awe of them, and tremendously grateful for their strength and bravery.

“On January 19, 2017, 18 women filed a federal lawsuit against Larry Nassar, USA Gymnastics, and Michigan State University. It told how Larry Nassar abused hundreds of young women and girls under the guise of medical treatments. It showed that when courageous young women reported the abuse, no one at those institutions tried to stop him. That lawsuit was the tipping point in a decades-long battle by survivors of sexual assault to be heard, and to be believed. The four women you’re about to hear from are part of that landmark suit. It is an honor to bear witness to their experience. We must ensure that when women speak up the first time, we listen and we act.
