#tbt to the World Cup in Chongqing China. But which year? .
I will not be competing at the two World Cups that are taking place in China this year. Before the season I knew I wouldn’t be fit and ready to do all of the competitions. Competing on the world stage is tough and demanding both physically and mentally. I knew I would need more time to get my body and mind competition ready after my recent finger injury. So, for the first time in many, many years I’ll be watching the competitions on the live stream by choice. Not because I can’t be there but because I’m choosing not to be. It’s important to know when to take a step back and look after yourself. No matter how hard that is to do at times. I am currently out in Sweden spending some time rock climbing and training at the local climbing wall. It’s the perfect place for me to get to know my body again, start to trust myself and feel good off the ground :) .
