I‘ve always felt a cosmic kinship with #GraceKelly.
I remember being at an exhibit at the V and A - London-
Her portrait was there.
The reflection of me and her image crossed paths.
I stood stunned for a moment - I felt ‘... this is the girl (me) no one knows.
The lady, the princess,
the imperfect grace -
that moment will last me a lifetime.
It doesn’t matter what people think -
We are constantly evolving and changing.
We are not one image -
but sometimes an image can stain the truth.
A secret life.
I understand that mine
has been wild and colorful one -
But
it has also been peaceful
even lonely -
I like lonely.
This is where I challenge my soul -
this is when I write poetry -
I rejuvenate to re-enter into life again.
Stronger,
ready for
another adventure
the unknown -

I am bold. I am brave.
You can’t catch me.
So
Enjoy me.
