May is Mental Health Awareness month and with all of the talk going on about so many celebrities and politicians I think we should all start to have a real conversation about mental health. This issue is so prevalent in America from the mass shootings to pop culture, we get so caught up in the actions we forget to tackle the cause. If you are suffering from anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts or even just everyday stress please take the time to get professional help. If you know someone dealing with these or other forms of mental health issues please take the time to have the hard conversation and help them get help. Let’s collectively erase the stigma of seeking help for mental illnesses especially in the African-American and Latino communities. #MentalHealthMonth #TakeTheTime
