Meet you in the mountains - the #BlueMountains, that is! It's hard to believe that just a stone's throw from @sydney is a World Heritage Area that stretches for more than a million hectares. We're referring to the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, which consists of the Blue Mountains and several adjoining National Parks. If you've ever wondered how the Blue Mountains earned their name, it's due to the distinctive blue haze caused by scattered rays of light contacting with dust particles and droplets of oil dispersed from the eucalyptus trees.
