@amyjanedavid here! Sharing my top moments of this ski season during my takeover this week. The most recent highlight was this photo during the Ski Mountaineering Course in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. I joined @sawtoothguides for four days at the Williams Peak Yurt learning the ropes to safely tackle big ski objectives in the backcountry. We practiced route planning based on snow conditions, use of sharp ice axes & crampons, how to manage ropes with rappels, anchors and so much more. The final day we climbed and skied 1084 Peak putting all the skills together. #FeelTheDifference #sawtooths #skimountaineering
