2017 was thee hardest year of my life. At one of my weakest moments, my mom looked at me and said, “Sometimes in life Paige the fight is yours alone to undertake.” She was completely correct in that statement except for one fact. If she hadn’t looked me in the face 2 months later, tapped me on my leg with her one finger and say, “Paige it’s time to stop, you need to get going,” then I would of never been standing on this podium today. With that, we assembled my inner circle and got to work. I want to say thank you to them for helping give me the tools to be here, but most of all I want to say Happy Birthday to my mom and thank her with all my heart because today this medal is hers.
