I've been saying for a while that we PROTECT what we KNOW. One of the main motivations behind #INTOtheNOWVR was to bring greater awareness of our oceans and the life within. Sharks play a vital role in the health of our oceans, and yet they are often misunderstood, or worse. Shark finning is a gruesome and cruel fate – I don't post pictures like this lightly. To see it happen in person was gut-wrenching and heartbreaking. ⠀
