10 (!) years ago today, this little man showed up in our backyard, immediately changing our lives for the better. I will love him until the day I die. Happy gotcha day, Gary. #?gare? #throwbackthursday #nosuchthingasjustacat
For those of you who haven't heard the story: I came home for lunch that day and I heard kittens in the backyard but couldn't locate them. I went back to work and when I got home my husband was in the backyard and said "look what I found" and there he was, a hot mess. He then said "we'll find him a good home" and I said "we already did" Our two cats were Carlos and his mom (Mother) at the time, and they gave zero effs and welcomed him. We also had a dog, Emily who was 16. We lost her in early June that year and having Gary was a great comfort at the right time.
