Founded in 1970, our #LearningThroughArt (LTA) program was conceived in response to the elimination of art and music programs in New York City public schools and continues to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and collaborative investigation at the museum, in the classroom, and beyond, serving nearly 150,000 children. This Friday, April 27, “A Year with Children 2018” opens at the Guggenheim where Lele and her peers will exhibit their inspiring works.
