After that, many unsuccessful results and some frustration that brought me to a few years of stop from competitions... When I came back to the comps world I had a totally different vision and attitude. I’ve always been a very realist person and I know that the clock is ticking and these would be my last years to achieve anything good for myself. So I decided a little personal goal. One more Final before I retire... I was very close three times in three years finishing 7th all the three times. This winter I made a lot of sacrifices, putting trips and rock climbing apart and focusing on comps preparation. The first stage in Meiringen left me different feelings, I couldn’t show my best due to the easy problems and didn’t make it to semi. Moscow was a different game and everything was on my side. Good form and kind of old school problems. I climbed well and focused on every round and most off all, I had a lot of fun! The Finals result doesn’t matter, 6th place, I climbed my best and achieved my goal. That’s what makes me happy and motivated for the rest of the season!!
