The incredible Kunsthalle Museum in Munich is currently showing a spectacular exhibition on Goethe’s FAUST, about how this famous German book has influenced so many in the creative world - artists, composers, filmmakers, photographers and more.

My dear friend Karl Lagerfeld made a photo-novel about this story, where I took on the role of Gretchen and the @kunsthallemuc exhibition contains some of the beautiful photos from Karl’s book.

For me, taking on the role of such an iconic character in German literature, portrayed through Karl’s creative lens, resulted in a series of images I am very proud of. As per any great piece of work, the story has a timeless appeal, which is mirrored by the incredible artistry of Karl himself and captured in these portraits.
