Good news! These best friends were released from armed groups along with hundreds of other children in South Sudan this week. Having secured their freedom, we’re now concentrating on helping them reintegrate back into their communities. Despite this progress, there are still around 19,000 children serving in the ranks of armed forces and groups in South Sudan, more than four years after the outbreak of conflict.
