On Day 2 of #CHOGM2018, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall joined a #CommonwealthBigLunch, met representatives from the Youth, People's, Business and Women's forums & learnt about the work of the Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network.
His Royal Highness, who has worked for many years to promote sustainability, was shown the 'Plasticus' Whale. Made of up a quarter-of-a-ton of plastic, 'Plasticus' represents the amount of plastic that enters our oceans every second.
The Duchess is Patron of The Big Lunch, an initiative that encourages communities to have lunch together in a simple act of friendship of fun.
