Introducing Mercury, Sol’s daughter. Part of our conservation efforts with @profepa_mx and @semarnat_mexico We have a program with them to reproduce in order to release the following generations of Mexican Felines and Mexican Birds into the wild. Mercury is our first born Jaguar. I’m super happy. We separated her immediately since her mom walked out of the night room without even cleaning her placenta. She’s incredibly cute. Even though we already have a Tiger called Mercury, he was named after after Freddie Mercury, and this baby was named after the Planet and Roman God Mercury. I’m a proud grandpa...
Les presento a mi nieta Mercury, hija de Sol. Ella es la primer cría de Jaguar que nos nace en conjunto con @profepa_mx y @semarnat_mexico para nuestro programa de conservación de Felinos y Aves Mexicanas. Nos tuvimos que meter por ella de inmediato pues su mamá se salió del cuarto de noche sin siquiera limpiarle la placenta y mucho menos alimentarla. Ya tenemos a un Tigre Mercury, pero el fue nombrado en honor a Freddie Mercury, y esta bebé fue nombrada en honor al Planeta y Dios Romano, Mercury...
