‘Every culture and individual perceives the concept of “monster” differently', says @lasvitdesign founder Leon Jakimič. ‘They frighten us, but also open up our minds, reminding us of our own limitations and inner fears’. For this year’s Salone del Mobile, the Czech glass manufacturer has called on a glittering roster of creatives to share their demons. The resulting pieces include imaginary fossils of small beasts by @maarten.baas, a salacious take on the Vitruvian Man by @fabionovembre (pictured), an alien figure by nonagenarian glass artist René Roubiček.
