SELF-DEFENSE NOW ✔️ My son and family were protected solely because Judit Balogh was armed with self-defense training. I am setting up a self-defense program with @krav_maga_worldwide @jhartfti for all people and will have spaces held for those who cannot afford it and victims of abuse. Please note- my awareness that doing a simple action in broad day light with my family no longer feels safe. I refuse to live in fear and choose to empower myself, our kids and everyone with any knowledge and training necessary to support. The justice system has many severe flaws, the new social justice reforms in CA have downgraded child abuse, rape among many other crimes. They are not working in the way they are intended and must be ratified. I stand with the Los Angeles DA Jackie Lacey in her mission to correct these areas. I ask @gov.jerrybrown to take affirmative action on behalf of all citizens. We can be compassionate and powerful. We can have reforms and safety. One cannot exist without the other.
