Today began the 2018 world cup bouldering season, and I am so happy to be back in Europe, making the rounds? qualifications were like a dream for me, although probably a nightmare for many others due to the unusually easy boulders. Easier qualification boulders may sound nice, but they can be deadly. By messing up beta, or if your foot blows, or any other number or silly things go wrong, soon enough the attempts add up and you've no chance of making the next round. There were multiple people today who completed every boulder and won't compete tomorrow. Luckily for me, things went well, and I'll have the chance to represent the US in semifinals alongside @mayafm3 ? I can't wait! Climbing starts at 11am UTC+1:00, or 3:00 am MST (I know, truly brutal.
