1st Time but not the last ?? Day 27 #100HappyDays this video is a perfect metaphor for what I’m about to say — U may see me struggle, but u will never see me quit! One of the most warm things Joey ever told me was he always knew I'd be okay, bc he knows i been thru "hell," & have always survived & come out better. I will never forget those words, i hold them very close to my heart. But it is the truth, I apply that w everything in life: love, work, dreams. Cuz u see, for me, defeat jus isn't an option. Ever. It can be tempting to throw in the towel trust me I know! I used to be 200lbs!! U might even have walked away from wat u really wanted believing that maybe this battle was not one u could win. I walked away from the industry after my abuser left me w nothing. I took 4yrs off, I returned when I was ready, wen i was strong both mentally & spiritually. Since my abuser, I was able to fall in love. Alhough Joey and I aren't together anymore, he played such a huge role in getting me back into the ring. Taking a break isn't defeat, as long as u remain willing to get up & try again, there's no stopping u from ur goals. If u want something bad enough, realize that it's ur tenacity that can get u to where u are headed. Sometimes half the struggle is just hanging in there until the miracle happens. With love, support and belief I was able to go from 1 MILLION IG followers to ZERO, to where I'm at today. Thank u mom, dad, friends, family and Joey. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes wen u need to keep fighting the good fight against all odds.U may wish u could take a small break to think thru a new strategy, or u may have thought u already quit for good & now find urself wanting to get bac in the ring again.
