Throwing it all the way back . This is some of my creative work from over 10 years ago when I was starting out. Before any big name cover shoots, or any big name celebrity clients .
I had a group of photographers, makeup artist, and stylist I would test with back then. We would be creative together , sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t . What was important was just collaborating together and refining our craft with each shoot . This shoot ended up being featured on ugly Betty back then...do you guys remember that show ? I am posting this to remind all of the aspiring artist out there to keep at it and Push yourself out of your comfort zone. Find other artist that inspire you to collaborate with. You don’t have to live in a major city like NYC or LA to be successful..you can be the big fish ? in your area. Assist , assist, assist and never stop learning . There is always so many ways to get to one end result. Be open to learning new things and from anyone even from artist just starting out in the business even if you’ve been at your craft for 30+ years . Don’t forget to take a coarse or ask questions . Nothing happens overnight . Don’t get caught up in others success and timeline and comparing yourself to them . Everyone’s journey will be different . Continue believing in yourself, putting in the hard work and you will eventually find your way . Don’t block your blessings by not being able to adapt to what and how success may come your way. Don’t be afraid to lift others coming up behind you, it’s lonely at the top by yourself . There is always room for others ...no one will be exactly like you so don’t be threatened .Everyone can bring their unique flare to the table . ? by @kristiinawilson ( Tap for more credits )
