We just love the way @shannelmariano teaches ? Check out her process below on how she tackled achieving both the perfect length with just the right amount of weight. ???? I used my clippers on the back and on the sides. ____________________ On top, I lifted her hair straight up and cut straight across to layer her hair. Her hair was still too thick but we were happy with the length in front. ____________________ So I went back in and angled my finger to cut her hair shorter in the back and longer in the front. It removed more weight but not enough. ____________________ I was going to go back in and angle my finger more to make the shorter hair even shorter and connect it to the length ..but we decided that we didn’t want the shorter hair to get any shorter. ____________________ So I created 2 disconnected set of layers. I was able to make the short hair of the 2 set of layers really short and remove a lot of the weight. The short hair wouldn’t be seen since the other set of disconnected layers would fall on top of it. ____________________ I looooove the we could be creative by just applying the basics of haircutting ...but what I love even more is that we could use our creativity not just to create crazy fun haircuts, but also to solve our client’s concerns with their hair. ❤️??
